I follow, the first yacht in the world to own a floating garage

Spotted at the Monaco Yacht Show by Designboom, the J ade is the first 60-metre megayacht equipped with a floating garage. It was built in 2013 by CRN Yachts, a custom yacht builder.

On board the J ade, an innovative flooded garage, which allows storage and easy access to the 8-metre shuttle, without using a lift. It can be accessed directly from the beach club or from the terrace on the lower floor. And icing on the cake, it turns into a sea pool and is equipped with underwater lights. It is the first yacht in the world to have a boat garage.

This "floodable" garage on the lower deck is hydraulically operated and can be dewatered in just 3 minutes.

A luxurious yacht in relation to the sea

The J'ade, whose steel and aluminum hull is 60 meters long, is a megayacht built by CNR at the request of a wealthy owner, in search of a ship that would be suitable for the sea. In addition to its floating garage, large bay windows let the light through and provide an unobstructed view of the sea.

Inside, everything is luxurious and modern at the same time. The materials used are leather, marble, wood and the furniture is elegant and refined.

Four guest suites and one owner's suite can accommodate 10 guests and 13 crew members. A large lounge, a beautiful exterior with four decks, a heliport, a swimming pool and an enclosed room containing a wellness room and a gym complete the ensemble.

Its maximum speed is 16 knots and its cruising speed is 14 knots.
