Royal Caribbean International has just launched its brand new cruise ship, a concentrate of technological innovations unique in the world.

Quantum of the Seas is the most technologically advanced cruise ship in navigation, the most advanced in its time. This connected Quantum class ship has 2,090 luxurious and spacious cabins, including 1,570 with balconies, 147 exterior, 373 with virtual balconies and 34 accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Everything has been designed here to offer many services that have never before been offered and make life on board easier: high-speed internet connection, immersive experiences, simplified chek-in... Activities will be offered for the first time on board a cruise yacht such as parachuting, a trip in the air at an altitude of more than 90 metres; revolutionary and innovative places that have never before been seen as the largest sports and leisure complex at sea with bumper cars, rollerblades etc. Finally, the cabins will be larger and more advanced than what is currently available on the market.

Royal Caribbean has always offered unique and innovative sea activities, such as the climbing wall, ice rink and FlowRider surf simulator, but the Quantum of the Seas goes even further by offering revolutionary sea activities.

A real amusement park

On board the Quantum of the Seas, you will have the opportunity to take skydiving lessons, whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, thanks to a simulator RipCord by iFly . Other, revolution, the North Star which allows you to fly in the air by climbing aboard a glass capsule, lifted by a foot at a height of 90 metres to enjoy an exceptional view at 360°C.

Let's not forget the essential facilities and services of the Royal Caribbean such as the solarium reserved for adults and the indoor pool, the outdoor pool which has been renovated with retractable roof and water park for children, accessible from the upper deck. The activities most appreciated by families are also present on the ship such as the climbing wall, the surf simulator FlowRider the Adventure Ocean children's program, the baby daycare, not to mention the DreamWorks activities and events featuring characters from animated films such as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar.

New places for activities never seen before on a cruise

Quantum of the Seas offers its passengers three spectacular new locations. Two70° is a multi-level room with a 270°C panoramic view thanks to huge glass walls that cover almost three decks at the stern of the boat. Every evening, at dusk, the hall hosts night shows to entertain passengers. The SeaPlex is the largest indoor space for activities at sea offering unique experiences such as bumper cars, the circus school with flying trapeze and a rollerblade track. The Music-Hall is a concert hall that welcomes visitors, with private and exclusive access, for shows, DJ sets, theme evenings or billiard games.

Spacious and innovative cabins

Within the Quantum of the Seas, the cabins have been designed to be more spacious and luxurious, averaging 9% larger than those in the Oasis class. Sophisticated and chic design, warm and welcoming atmosphere to find your cocoon, they have been designed according to the intelligent design of Royal Caribbean International. For indoor cabins, virtual balconies allow you to enjoy the full view of the ocean in real time.

Family cabins with separate bedrooms and their own bathrooms allow large families or friends to travel together while keeping their privacy. Finally, Quantum of the Seas now offers the widest choice of cabin categories, including new studio cabins, some with balconies for single passengers, three categories of Junior suites and larger Loft suites.
