The French Navy is recruiting 3000 young people in 2015

3,000 young people aged 16 to 29, with a schooling level ranging from 3rd to Bac+5, will be trained as sailors this year.

The French Navy has just launched its new recruitment campaign "Take a step towards your future" for the period 2015-2017. This is its third recruitment campaign since 2009.

After the Air Force, which recently announced that it wants to recruit 2,000 young people this year, the Navy has set itself the target of recruiting 3,000 young people per year, taking into account the duration of contracts and the inflow and outflow of young people. Aged between 16 and 29 years old, with an educational level ranging from 3 th at Bac+5, they will be trained as sailors.

With a new film and new visuals, the Navy will be present in the media (internet, television, cinema, posters). It has two 30-second advertising films, two short 15-second versions, three poster visuals, as well as its recruitment platform www.etremarin.fr. These different products were produced from 26 to 31 October 2014 within the various forces of the French Navy and in Marseille for civilian life scenes.

The advertising films feature commandos and shed light on the fifty or so trades offered by the Navy. With the slogan "Take a step towards your future", the campaign emphasizes the link between civilian and military life and offers an immersion in the world of the Navy's four major forces: boats, submarines, planes and helicopters.

This new campaign was imagined and developed by the Navy and the Havas Paris communications agency.
