Following the success of the mini-yacht Jet Capsule, the design agency Lazzarini launches a new version 2015, called Reptile. Lighter than its predecessor - 500 kg - it is also faster. Equipped with a high-performance 570 hp llmor MV8 engine, the Reptile is capable of reaching speeds of 50 knots (90 km/h).
This compact boat, whose design is reminiscent of a cross between a ski lift egg and a bumper car, is made of fiberglass. Compared to the first version of the Jet Capsule, the dimensions have been reduced. The Reptile is 7.5 m long and 3.5 m wide. Stability has also been improved in high-speed manoeuvres and shockproof suspensions are fitted to the passenger seats.
In the capsule there is a protected terrace with a lounge area, toilets, cockpit and a diving platform at the stern. The interior is fully customizable and can accommodate 13 passengers, including a pilot.
The Reptile is handcrafted and assembled in Italy. Belonging to boat category B, it can withstand waves up to 1.5 metres high.
To possess this small fast toy, it will be necessary to pay the sum of 250 000 ? and to wait... 9 months, the time of construction of the Reptile.
