Bénéteau is expanding its range of trawlers, motor boats dedicated to travel, with the Swift Trawler 30 which it will present to the Nautic de Paris . With a length of 9.99 m, it is the smallest model in the range, which includes the Swift 34 and 34S (10.98 m), launched in 2009, the Swift 44 (13.88 m) which replaced the 42 in 2011, and the Swift 50 (14.99 m) launched in 2013, for the tenth anniversary of the range.
The Swift Trawler 30 is a fast trawler, designed for the high seas, for cruises with family or friends. Like the 34 and 44, it is equipped with a semi-planing hull. On the safety side, handrails are omnipresent on the boat and high balconies and a wide protected starboard deck make it safe to travel on board.
The wheelhouse is fully glazed for 360°C circular vision in the cockpit and a bright interior. The boat has a range of 200 miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots and 300-litre water tanks for long-distance voyages.
The design of the Swift Trawler 30 has been designed for an easy and comfortable life on board, with a modular layout. To give priority to outdoor life, the wheelhouse's bay window makes it possible to create only one space between the cockpit and the saloon. On the other hand, the transom opens completely to enlarge the cockpit area to 5m2 and transform it into a terrace overlooking the sea.
The flybridge is accessed by a ladder to starboard. It too has been designed in a modular way, to provide maximum space. Thus, the swivel table saves space. At the front, there is the cockpit with a lounge area to keep the driver company.
Inside and outside, everything has also been designed to provide space. For example, there are folding folding seats in the cockpit, a sofa bed in the living room or a clever table that slips under the benches to enlarge the space in the saloon.
The Swift Trawler 30 is available in two versions: one or two double cabins. But six people can stay on board thanks to the sofa-convertible for 2 people.
