Landing directly on your yacht? Here's what Winch Design has to offer

The new 100 m concept of the Winch Design studio

Winch Design's new superyacht concept has a landing platform capable of accommodating an Augusta Westland 609. The particularity of this plane is to take off vertically.

The Winch Design studio has unveiled its new concept of a 100 m long trimaran (328 feet) with exceptional characteristics. With a width of 21 m, this unique yacht has a landing platform for an Augusta Westland 609 aircraft. It is a twin-engine civil aircraft with tilting rotors and vertical takeoff. There is also a storage shed for the aircraft.

Although it is common to find one or more heliports on superyachts, as well as spaces to store them, a landing space for an aircraft is something never seen before.

In addition to a unique design, this superyacht will provide impressive speeds for a boat of this size, with an estimated speed of 26-28 knots. It will be equipped with standard diesel engines, which would not allow it to reach this speed on a monohull of this size.

The 100 m superyacht will also be equipped with numerous garages for tenders and nautical toys and large interior spaces.
