Whoever sees a healthy water mark thinks he's out of danger. Here is a new mark of the beaconing explained in detail.

In the coastal marking, there is a mark to indicate that one is in deep or healthy water, that is to say without danger. There are no obstacles around this buoy. These buoys generally define the channel axes or serve as a landing buoy before entering a harbour.

Flashing light Light duration is shorter than darkness duration.

Occulting light Light duration is longer than darkness duration.

Isophase light Light duration: The light duration is equal to the darkness duration.
