Impressive images of a burning superyacht


The Princess 95 Queen Anna unfortunately caught fire. A fire that broke out in a Turkish marina. Evacuated from the port, it nevertheless sank a few hours later.

On 21 January 2016, a fire broke out in the Ege Saray Marina in Fethiye, southwest Turkey. But he also attacked boats moored, like this Princess 95, in the name of Queen Anna, built in 2009. The neighbouring yacht Natalie also caught fire, but the crew managed to take control of it and extinguish it.

To avoid igniting the other boats, Queen Anna was towed away from her pontoon by a small tender. Later in the day, it was brought into deeper water outside the port before sinking during the night of January 21-22.

The person seen on the boat's foredeck is Captain Vladimir Lopat, who was taken to hospital a little later due to smoke inhalation. Fortunately, his life was not at stake.
