Neel 51, a trimaran that plays the open card

To complete its range Neel trimaran launches the Neel 51. The new layout allows an open saloon to the cockpit.

After the 45, which marked the creation of the yard, after the 65 launched in 2015, Neel Trimarans is now announcing a new trimaran: the Neel 51. To discover the first illustrations, this trimaran fits perfectly into the line of the 2 others and completes the range.

In these new volumes, there will be 4 double cabins and 4 bathrooms, including an owner's suite. This will be installed on starboard at the level of the gondola with a view of the sea at the foot of the bed. Usually reserved for another cabin on the other Neels, the port side space is dedicated to the saloon and the galley is located forward. Thus the saloon and cockpit share a totally open space on the same level. A large opening bay window removes the notion of inside and outside.

We find the open concept that catamaran shipyards implement on their boats. On the Neel, the view to starboard will be somewhat limited, blocked by the layout of the owner's cabin.

Access to the floats and the central hull is from the inside, similar to what you get on catamarans, and already fitted out in this way on the 65. The hulls accommodate one double cabin each with storage space in the forward ends that can be converted into an extra berth or available for a crew. A new double cabin with its own bathroom occupies the forward point of the central hull.

Next to the helm station, the Neel 51 also has a comfortable flying deck with sunbathing facilities.

The prize is drawn to match the large production catamarans of the same size. The Neel 51 will be available from 587 000 euros HT in basic version and ready to sail at around 650 00 euros HT. A racing version will be proposed with carbon reinforcements, lighter layouts and carbon spars. An option valued at EUR 80,000.

The launch of this new trimaran is announced for the end of 2016.
