Experience the crossing Japan China on a container ship

This timelapse video is incredibly beautiful! You have the impression to travel in the middle of clouds and not to know any more if you are on ground or in the air!

This timelapse was made from photos taken during 2 weeks during the transit of a freighter from the Pacific Ocean through the Sea of Japan then the China Sea. The camera was fixed on the deck of the container ship and films the clouds, which are moving at an impressive speed (timelapse).

" The weather and sea conditions were really crucial and sensitive to be able to produce clear images from the boat (which acts as a moving tripod) constantly in motion, explains the sailor.

Over 70,000 images were taken, but only 9,000 were usable for editing in this 2.46 minute video.

This production is the work of Jeff, third officer in the navy who makes videos and keeps a blog during his travels around the world on a mega container ship. He enjoys sharing with his friends and family his hard work - which remains little known despite the importance of the marine industry - and the scenes of life that take place in the marine world.
