A day at the Brest Holidays, how is it going?


The Maritime Holidays of Brest 2016 will open their doors from July 13 to 19. For the occasion 1050 boats and hundreds of thousands of spectators will be present on the water as on the quays. With animations, parades, shows But a day of celebration, how does it go?

10 am: Opening of the village to the public

The Brest Festival Village opens every day at 10 am and welcomes the public with music. Then begin the animations within the various villages, the openings of rides, the various games and the exhibitions. It is also the beginning of the musical programs in ambulatory (batucada, bagad, brass band...).

11 am: Opening of Les Grands Bateaux

The large boats open to visitors open their doors to the public, while actors keep visitors waiting in line. It is also the beginning of the youth workshops (graffiti, model making...) and literary meetings at the Café Dialogues.

1 p.m.: Music and catering

Musical entertainment is more likely to be found at the Villages' catering points. Animated and unusual strolls continue in the enclosure of the Fêtes de Brest.

14:00: Start of concerts

The concerts are played all afternoon on the big stage
