Vanquish Yacht rethinks the water scooter with the new Vanqraft 16

Vanquish Yacht offers a new version of its new Vanqraft 16 with a composite and polyester hull. With a speed of about 40 knots, this jet-powered water scooter serves as a tender and is ideal for towing many toys.

Dutch luxury yacht brand Vanquish Yacht presents a new âeuro water scooter for which it has already received four âeuro orders the Vanqraft 16. Unlike previous versions designed in aluminum, these new models will be built in composite and polyester. The shipyard expects to reduce the price and production time. It will also be available in a Veloce version, much faster and capable of reaching 50 knots.

The Vanquish visual style, recently seen on the VQ 48 (presented at the Monaco Yacht Show), is found on this 5m long hybrid toy. Indeed, the Vanqraft 16 is a cross between a superyacht tender and a jet ski. It was created in close collaboration with Guido de Groot Design and the naval architects of Studio Delta.

While the cockpit in the center of the boat inspires power and is reminiscent of a jet-ski layout, the bow is reminiscent of an open hull deck and can comfortably accommodate 2 people. A total of 5 other people can be accommodated on board.

The Vanqraft 16 has all the hallmarks of the brand, namely excellent handling, a very high level of comfort and quality technology.

"This vessel is the result of research and discussions with potential buyers. As a result, its radical design follows a clear brief, which is why it has already had a high demand. With its distinctive design, it's easy to recognize, even from a distance, that this tender is a Vanquish. And like all of the brand's boats, every Vanqraft 16 is customizable to the owner's tastes." explains Tom Steentjes, CEO of Vanquish Yachts.

The water scooter is equipped with a 200 HP Yamaha 1.8 L engine with jet propulsion, for a speed of 40 knots.

The Vanqraft 16 is powerful enough to be used with many water toys such as water-skiing, wakeboarding and banana boats. But it can also be used as a superyacht tender. Its jet propulsion is installed flat in the hull and therefore allows the scooter to be stored easily in any dinghy garage.

For an order placed before November 15, 2016, the scooter will be delivered in June 2017. It costs 79,950 euros excluding VAT for the classic version and 94,950 euros for the Veloce version.
