Bali Catamarans, 100 boats sold in 2 years

Bali 4.0 Catamaran

Bali has announced the sale of its 100th catamaran. A success for the Catana Group brand, whose growth objectives are high.

100 boats in 25 months

Created in 2014, Bali will have needed only 2 years to sell its first 100 catamarans. The brand dedicated to production boats of the Catana group finalized the sale of its 100th unit at the Barcelona 2016 Boat Show. This is a Bali 4.0 sailboat.

The commercial success of Bali confirms the commercial strategy of the Catana group in its creation of a serial brand to compete with Lagoon or Fountaine-Pajot.

Increase in size

The new models Bali 5.2 and Bali 5.8 to come will allow to complete the range of catamarans towards the higher sizes. Today, the 50-foot segment is one of the most dynamic in the multihull world.

Sailing remains the main know-how of the brand, the Bali 4.0 engine having today been produced in only one specimen.

Production up

After having produced 50 boats during the fiscal year 2015-2016, Bali should reach the 70 catamarans sold for the 2016-2017 fiscal year, according to Emmanuelle Pinault, communication and marketing manager of the Catana group. The regular recruitment of personnel makes it possible to follow the growth of the order book, the industrial tool being well dimensioned to date.

Flexible organization

Bali manufacturing is spread over 3 industrial sites. The units of less than 45 feet are built in Marans, in Charente-Maritime, while the largest are built in Canet-en-Roussillon in the Pyrénées Orientales. Bali yachts for charter are produced in Tunisia. The French sites produce both Catana and Bali, the former coming into the production lines of the latter. This industrial solution ensures regular production at the sites.
