Invictus Yacht, an Italian shipyard specialising in sporty and elegant open day cruisers, will present a new range of motor boats at the German boat show in early 2017: CX. This will complement the X-series, which already includes the FX (sports outboard) and SX (open inboard) range. The CX range will have the same hull shape as the other models in the X series, but with a new living space located in the centre of the boat with a cabin and a separate bathroom.
The largest model will be the CX280 and will be officially presented next January at the Boot Dusseldorf (21-29 January 2017). This open will have the same length and weight as its sistership, the 280SX and will also have the same performance. The steering console will also have the same features - layout for easy standing driving and ergonomic layout.
At the back, there is a sunbathing area, which faces a large bathing platform covering the Z-Drive base. Behind the tanning area is an L-shaped square with a table in the centre. The cockpit is equipped with a bench for 2 really clever people to create a real living space in the center of the boat. The bench tilts to become two additional chairs around the cockpit table. A retractable bimini is stowed at the rear and opens to cover the entire cockpit and protect the living space from the sun.
The steering console is entirely protected by a wrap-around windscreen and houses the entrance to the cabin, where there is a large sofa that can be transformed into a double bed. There is also a bar, a refrigerator and a separate bathroom with a beautiful height under the beam.
Access to the foredeck is provided by the gangways (the one on the starboard side is wider), which are entirely covered by a large sunbathing area with cup holders installed on the centre console.
However, it will be necessary to wait for the Düsseldorf Boot to have more information on this model and others to come.
