The new Nimbus 365 Coupe replaces the old version launched in 2011 and crowned European Powerboat 2012. This long-distance cruiser is a comfortable family "semi-trawler" for long cruises on board. This new model is more modern, with a sportier look inherited from the other models in the range, the 305 and 405 Coupés. It retains the same hull, but its new look allows it to be more in harmony with the rest of the range and to gain in functionality.

"Instead, we're talking to well-informed owners and families who actually use their boats. So we always focus on functionality rather than design. We call this functional design, deeply rooted in Nimbus know-how. At the same time, we naturally try to make our boats as beautiful as possible" explains Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer at Nimbus Yacht in Sweden.
A more modern design for a more homogeneous range
Thus, there are several novelties on this boat for a younger public, who are looking for a simple and quality boat with beautiful living spaces. The side door of the cockpit, which opens onto the single starboard gangway, has been improved. In the cockpit, which is well protected by high catwalks and a fully enclosed cockpit, the bay window is larger and the roof cap is longer at the stern. In this space there is a saloon with an L-shaped bench seat to port and access to a beautiful bathing platform. The L-shaped sofa is more comfortable than the previous model as it is deeper and has a better backrest. The table is also larger. Access to the foredeck - which houses a beautiful sundeck - is via the single wide starboard gangway.

Very safe front deck
In terms of exterior design, the liston has been modified, visibility from the saloon and helm station has been improved, the dashboard has been modernised and the saloon has been extended by 20 cm. Also noteworthy is the addition of an additional electric sunroof (instead of one), for more light in the saloon.

An interior with Scandinavian decor
The interior design and decoration has also been revised with new kitchen furniture and a more modern forward cabin. This space exudes a feeling of authenticity, warmth and comfort thanks to the materials used: mahogany, varnished surface and light fabrics. The saloon space has been maximized and is more spacious and airy than on the previous version, thanks in particular to the two large opening roofs (electric or manual), with integrated blinds.

The U-shaped sofa on the port side converts into a co-pilot seat on the bow, thanks to the removable backrest, and can accommodate two adults or one adult and two children. In saloon mode, it can accommodate 4 people for a meal on the large table or 6 people to enjoy a relaxing moment. The sofa also converts into an additional double bed. The space is very bright, thanks to the glass roof and the panoramic deck glazing. A new window opens completely at anchor.

The new modular galley installed on the starboard side offers more storage space and many individual options: gas, electric or induction hobs, oven or microwave, an additional cooler (36 L), a freezer or extra storage space. A hood or tall cupboards are also available as an option.

On the starboard side, forward of the galley, the cockpit has also been upgraded with a flexible instrument panel, which can be fitted with a 16-inch GPS/plotter or two smaller models. All surfaces are treated to reduce glare and be easy to clean.
Cockpit
The Nimbus 365 Coupé houses two double cabins - a master cabin and a guest cabin with a shared bathroom. New is the addition of high cupboards and walk-in closets for increased storage capacity. Fabric bulkheads add to the cosy atmosphere of the boat while LED lighting creates a comfortable and functional interior. Finally, integrated ventilation makes a real difference.

The boat is fully protected by a high rail and a large front balcony. Handrails on the cabin and roof allow easy movement from bow to stern. Numerous equipment reinforces this feeling of safety, as does the secure cockpit.
A wider range of engines
The engines remain unchanged - one or two Volvo Penta engines in the shaft line - from 1x370 hp to 2x300 hp. But the Nimbus 365 Coupé has been adapted to accommodate a smaller engine to meet strict environmental requirements such as those of Lake Constance, Germany. Equipped with a single Volvo Penta 260 hp, the boat is lighter and more fuel-efficient.
The Nimbus 365 Coupé is on sale from 393,000 euros including tax and is sold in France by Dolphy Services, exclusive importer of the Swedish brand.
