Polish designer Robert Blazejak, who previously worked at Sunreef, is now working as an independent designer and has launched an original tender catamaran concept: the Breaker Code. This "Code Breaker" is really well named. Discovery in pictures.

The designer Robert Blazejak - former chief designer at Sunreef - to whom we owe the 210 Sunreef Power Trimaran, has worked on a tender catamaran concept. There are no catamaran tenders on the market, probably because of their larger width than a monohull and therefore requires a larger garage space in a yacht. However, the multihull structure offers many advantages such as stability, a rather reduced draught, a large deck area..

The Polish multihull specialist is now independent and has developed a 40-foot catamaran concept called CodeBreaker - "code breaker" in French. The idea is to offer a tender that rivals a monohull rather than multihulls. He has therefore created a very functional "multifunctional" boat that is available in 4 versions inspired by the automobile, both by their names and their design:

  • Cabrio deck with an open bridge
  • Deck coupe with a sportop
  • Targa deck with a hardtop
  • Saloon deck with a completely enclosed bridge.

The Cabrio and Targa versions are more suitable for tender use, thanks to their relatively low profile.

With a total length of 12 m, the CodeBreaker has a living space of 75 m2, with a width of 6 m. The deck space can still be extended at anchor with bulwarks that unfold on the water surface. Equipped with two 320 HP engines, it will be able to reach more than 30 knots. A composite construction will allow it to be even faster.

The designer is currently in talks with a shipyard to have his catamaran built in series.
