Revolutio 39, a design that will make people talk about it...

The Revolution 39, the first model from Canelli Yachts shipyard

On the pontoons of Cannes, a strange motor boat caught our attention: cut-out bow, lowered bulwarks, futuristic design The Revolutio 39 is a 12 m open boat available in cocktail or lounge version, for comfortable stays at sea. A bold bias whether you like it or not. What do you think of that?

The Revolution 39 cocktail version, from the Italian shipyard Canelli is a 12.20 m open boat and the first model in a future range between 36 and 50 feet. Its cut-out hull calls out and we can't help but ask "Why?" "This cut in the bow is purely decorative, in the spirit of Italian design." explains Alexandre Boussin, the brand's French importer.

At the back, there is a bench seat overlooking the bathing platform, which can be unfolded and transformed into a sunbathing area. It contains a large trunk that serves as a tender garage.

The aft end of the cockpit is equipped with a large folding table with a U-shaped bench seat, which can be transformed into a sunbathing area. Here, the owner has opted for plexiglass, but the materials are custom. Facing the table, an outdoor kitchen with sink, refrigerator, hotplates... offers all the necessary equipment for meals on board.

The steering console is equipped with a double seat and all the necessary electronic equipment (GPS, autopilot, joystick). Note the Plexiglas bulwarks cut out at the helm station, a design element that is necessarily very reassuring, but which can be raised on request (in the case of children on board for example). The T-top that protects the helm station will now be made of carbon on the other models and therefore more resistant. There will no longer be any need to have stainless steel support bars on the outside kitchen.

The entrance to the cabin is on the port side, via a sliding bay. The tulip-shaped front of the Revolutio 39 provides a large rounded deck area, which accommodates a very large bench seat and a table for 10 people. In this space, the freeboards are high and protect from splashes. In the lounge version, the front deck receives a full sunbathing.

Under the bridge, which is accessed by a staircase, the height under the deck is impressive, despite a very low roof. Light flows in through the glass roof and thanks to the side windows and the quality of finish is at the rendezvous with an Italian carpentry shop.

On the front, there is a U-shaped bench seat or a bed, on the back, there are two single berths. Between the two spaces, a beautiful bathroom with separate shower completes the list of interior fittings. The Revolutio 39 also offers many storage compartments and can be equipped with an internal refrigerator.

With a Volvo Penta D6 370 DP engine, the boat reaches a speed of 40 knots. It is also available in petrol version or with a Volvo IPS 600 (2x435 hp) subframe transmission with joystick and autopilot. In this version, it costs 474,600 euros including VAT. It is also possible to adapt outboard motors.
