A new range with a good price/quality ratio
Two years ago, Quicksilver launched studies with its dealers, dealers and customers to take the pulse of the launch of a new range. "We realized that there was a strong demand for bowriders in France, Switzerland, Italy and the Scandinavian countries." sylvain explains. There was already an offer on the market of American brands, but with higher prices. The objective for the project was therefore to propose "an affordable boat, but with great quality."
While the range was due to be launched a year ago, the yard was at capacity and therefore had to revise its production plan somewhat, thus postponing the release of these new models, which will therefore be presented as world premieres in Paris. Quicksilver will present two of the three new products at the Nautic: the Activ 755 Bowrider and the Activ 605 Bowrider. The Activ 555 will not be presented immediately as it is eagerly awaited by dealers with strong demand for this type of small unit on the market.
"Our bowrider range will be composed of high quality boats with competitive prices, to be able to offer a boat at the top, but with an affordable price" explains Sylvain.
The main features of the Bowrider range
The bowrider range will be first and foremost " functional and with very good marine qualities thanks to its high-performance hull. The hull is healthy and safe at sea. Don't think bowriders are just boats for lakes." sylvain explains.
This new range of versatile boats has a rather sporty and refined design, and offers stable and safe navigation. Sylvain Perret details the three main characteristics of this range.
"We wanted boats that were functional and easy to use. Thus, on the two largest models, we worked on the deployment of the bimini, which is done in a few seconds. The clear edges are high enough to provide safety for families with young children. Finally, on the bowrider, we played on functionality, with an easy to install sunbathing area"
Other features include hydraulic steering for comfortable and effortless steering, standard on the Activ 605 and 755 bowriders and optional on the 555 Bowrider, flexi-teck Carefree floor for style or an easy-to-install ski pole with dedicated storage area.
