Look at this new Aventra 44. It's announced as an evolution of the 43. And yet nothing seems to bring them closer! Indeed, the shipyard, in the person of Eric Roger, must explain to us that these two models share the same hull mould to understand the similarities. Everything else is new!
This result with modern lines is the result of the work of designer Samer Lasta, to whom we already owe the Aventura 10 (the power model). A major structural work has been done on the 44 to lighten the weight estimate for this catamaran. Then the deck and deckhouse moulds are completely redone. Thus this catamaran gains modernised interior and exterior lines.
On the spatial side, the interior/exterior distribution is identical. On the other hand, the huge bay window that opened the square from one side to the other is over. Here the U-shaped galley is installed aft of the saloon on starboard and separates the saloon from the cockpit. The passage is on the port side (double window).
The yard deliberately left a beam behind the cockpit. This stiffens the boat and closes the cockpit tightly. A reassuring advantage for boats intended for owners who want to sail far away by securing the crew (especially if there are children).
As for the layout, this catamaran can accommodate 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms. But it is in a version with 3 cabins and 2 toilets that the first copy will be delivered. In this arrangement, the guest hull has a shower separate from the toilet. The bulky owner's hull offers plenty of storage space and even a place for a washing machine!
