We are in Los Angeles, on the west coast of the United States, facing the Pacific. A sailboat is in difficulty, drowned on the pebbles all sails hoisted. The waves push him to the coast, directly on the mole with visibly two people on board.
Fortunately the construction of this small boat (8 m) is solid. Because of the shocks it receives, it does not demolish itself. Local rescue teams are notified and are on site. But they won't be able to intervene.
Indeed, in spite of a diver who throws himself into the water to try to pass a hawser on the sailboat in difficulty, this one frees itself from its trap. The mainsail which remained lined is enough to free it once the waves have positioned the sailboat crosswind.
All that's left is for a safety sailor to get on board to clear the sailboat a little (especially lower the sails) and tow it into the harbour.
A good operation on the part of the rescuers, who although they did not intervene, were there to ward off the immediate danger. A video which twists the guts in view of the blows of the bulwark received by the sailboat, but which finally ends well even if this boat will undoubtedly have to pass in building site to dress its wounds
