In this 6th episode of Under The Pole, the crew of the Why completes their crossing of the Northwest Passage. A complicated navigation, hampered by ice and heavy weather. The opportunity for the two expedition leaders Emmanuelle Périé-Bardout and Ghislain Bardout to discover the life of the Eskimo of yesteryear and their life today or to discover an incredible wreck.

After the Peel Sound passage, which was difficult for the crew of the Why, including a lot of ice, the Under The Pole expedition continued its crossing of the Northwest Passage. As summer approaches, the days get shorter and the weather conditions become more difficult. Emmanuelle Périé-Bardout and Ghislain Bardout meet a hunting couple in Cambridge Bay, an opportunity to discover the lives of Arctic men and how the climate has changed in a few years. Also set off to discover a wreck dating from the 1960s, intact and in good condition, discovered by the Why thanks to the lateral sounder.

The Northwest Passage will have been complicated, with lots of ice and a Bering Strait passage in rough sea conditions. After 9,000 nautical miles, the Why has finally reached the Pacific, welcomed by a magnificent whale show. After a winter stopover, it's time for the crew to resume their expedition with their sights set on 2018, polynesia then Antarctica
