The bay of Saint-Malo has one of the best tidal ranges (difference in water level between open sea and low sea) the most important in Europe. After a period of high tide from 31 March to 2 April 2018 (coef 105), Saint-Malo was once again the scene of a natural spectacle from Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 April 2018, with a coefficient of 102 on Tuesday 17 April.
