Technohull 38 Grand Sport: 3x400 horsepower and over 100 knots!

Technohull 38 Grand Sport

The Greek shipyard Technohull will soon launch the new 38 Grand Sport, a 12 m semi-rigid capable of reaching 100 knots! Presentation.

The Greek shipyard Technohull is working on several new products, including the 38 Grand Sport, which will be launched in the coming months. With its length of 12 m, its V-shaped hull with an angle of 24° and fine water inlets, the yard ensures that this new model should reach a speed of more than 100 knots - with 3x400 HP, the maximum motorization - while maintaining stability and safety.

Other engine configurations are possible, from 2x300 hp: 2x300 hp, 2x350 hp, 2x400 hp, 3x300 hp or 3x350 hp.

The 38 Grand Sport - like all the models in the 2018 range, namely the T688 , T909, SeaDNA999G5 Attitude 35, and the Omega 45 - has a patented hull developed by the shipyard: Dynastream Hull. Each hull is developed specifically by the yard for each model using computer programs and hull structure algorithms. After several design loops, the hydrodynamic profile of each model is defined, and the positioning of the strakes, the number and positioning of the steps, or the varangue reading are optimized.

"Thanks to all these combinations, the boat is perfectly balanced, efficient, and perfectly navigable, perfect for moving quickly, but with a very smooth and safe ride, which will thrill newcomers like the brand's aficionados" explains the site.

The 38 Grand Sport has a central console that can either accommodate a small cabin for 2 people or a bench in the front of the console. The latter has 4 wrap-around shock absorbing seats that should ensure safety and comfort when sailing even in rough seas. Finally, two sunbathing areas are located at the front and rear of the boat.
