Web series / Sailing Kalispera : A 17-day delivery to bring Kalispera back, it shakes!

In this 3rd episode of Sailing Kalispera, it is now time to get the boat back to port. It is in the company of 3 friends that Arnaud will convey Kalispera to Lavandou. A crossing of 17 days, far from being relaxing, especially when you are not used to sailing...

Today, we find Arnaud Mélanie stayed to work in La Rochelle, ready to convey Kalispera their Sun Odyssey 45.1 to Lavandou. For this long journey 17 days ! three friends with average sea legs join Arnaud on this long journey!

Moreover, the first two days are rather folkloric since everyone is sick, with a crossing of the Bay of Biscay, which marks the bodies and minds... But as time goes by, everyone makes their mark, chaining night shifts 2 hours each and life on board is organized fishing, cooking (the boys can count on the culinary talents of one of them !), washing, sailing, swimming (by 2 000 m depth !) and meeting the surrounding wildlife (dolphins morning and evening, birds that come to take refuge on board...).

In spite of a large shipyard built on the median of the shipyard of Minimes (La Rochelle), Kalispera still meets some problems, and in particular of engine (which will give out at least twice!)

From La Rochelle, Kalispera will sail off A Coruña before heading for Portugal and a stop at Cascais (in the Lisbon estuary) to refuel the ship. An opportunity for everyone to stretch their legs on the ground and discover local specialities (and not just food...). Gibraltar shakes everyone we will find a spinnaker pole in the cockpit and tire the men (and the boat...). After a last stop in Cartagena, the crew continued their journey, enjoying life on board: sewing, cooking (again!) between sails and engine..

After 17 days at sea, they are happy to arrive on land, tired by this long crossing which has reserved them some surprises!
