Adapt to the client's wishes
For the construction of this new model, Arcadia Yachts is inspired by the mantra "Yachting Renaissance". This motto, launched in 2017, is based on the owner's desires and intended use of the yacht and then gives shape to his ideas and desires. "Flexibility to accommodate different homeowner requests." And to meet the demands, the Italian manufacturer relies on the expertise of the Milanese studio Hot Lab.
Thus, the shipyard has studied different options of interior layout "playing" constantly on the exchange between interior and exterior space. Currently, 50 combinations have been studied for this project, to highlight the flexibility of this yacht and facilitate the individualization of solutions, as close as possible to the client's desires.
A superyacht open to the outside environment
For openness to its natural environment, the A105 has large openings that limit the use of air conditioning, solar panels integrated into the superstructure, and features cutting-edge glazing solutions (editor's note: the innovative windows rise and fall like those in a car), with significant thermal insulation.
on board, the key word is conviviality and relaxation, a central value in the design of the boat. The aft deck can accommodate up to ten people around the dining table, while the lounge area can accommodate another twelve guests. This area can also be transformed into an additional dining area, allowing the owner to host more than twenty people at the table.
A concept that has been extended to the upper deck, where the interiors and exteriors blend together to create a large relaxation area. The convertible skylounge, of almost 30 m2, can be enjoyed all year round ( NDRL: Because glazed ), opens at the stern to the sunlounge, which with its 35 m2, offers a friendly space in direct contact with the sea.
The A105 that can be admired on the quay at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018 is also the 3rd yacht that the shipowner has decided to build with Arcadia in 7 years. " His choices were on the same line as his sailing philosophy that we now know well: large convivial spaces for the day and cabins really able to offer privacy and comfort out of category" said Ugo Pellegrino, General Manager of the Italian shipyard.
"That's why he asked us to transform the winter garden at the bow of the main deck into a game room where it's possible to host, in privacy, a few privileged guests or enjoy the view at the bow and the natural sea breeze from the two large side windows."
A black and white decor
Whether in the common areas or in the cabins, the use of black and white, declined in particular species and associated with glossy lacquered inserts, creates a play of contrasts that is not a simple aesthetic element. In the main salon, for example, where the central section highlighted by the presence of dark carpet is dedicated to welcoming guests, while the side passages with light-colored floors and ceilings textualize the passages for moving around on board.
The direct relationship with the environment and the dialogue between interior and exterior spaces, which have always been key concepts of every Arcadia yacht, undergoes a further evolution in the A105. The same structural elements, such as the staircase that leads to the upper deck, whose steps almost float in the air, have been designed in such a way as not to create obstacles to the view. A concept that we also find in the furniture, deliberately low.
In order to increase the level of privacy, the main cabin is accessed via a staircase, while in the guest area, among the various options available, the owner has chosen two VIP cabins and one guest cabin.
