The Hungarian shipyard Narke is launching a fully electric jet ski on the market. If its angular design and acidulous colours attract the eye, it is through its propulsion that the Narke Electrojet intends to stand out. Tested on Lake Balaton a few weeks ago, it was at the Cannes Yachting Festival that this jet ski of the future made its debut.
The Electrojet is the first mass-produced electric jet ski and aims to revolutionize the practice of this water sport with a silent and environmentally friendly practice.
With its 45 kilowatt three-phase water-cooled asynchronous motor, the Narke Electrojet reaches a maximum speed (and electronically limited) of 55 km/h. This type of motor has many advantages such as robustness and ease of maintenance and transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy through electromagnetic phenomena.
Lightweight (350 kg for a length of 4 m), it has a carbon fibre reinforced composite structure and can accommodate up to 3 people. It is therefore suitable for family outings as well as towed water sports.
Its 24 kW battery provides it with an autonomy of 1 h 30 in normal use. The site announces an 80% recharging capacity in just 2 hours. Finally, the Electrojet has three anchor points to be easily removed from the water and stored on the deck or bathing platform of a boat.
Finally, a digital control screen allows you to control both speed and batteries, with an interface available on mobile phones to check the charging level for example.
