Lightweight and fast
To make a sailing boat that works, you need a nice hull, but above all don't blow up the scale. With its posted weight of 2.1 tons, the N'Fun 30 must offer its crew great sensations. Many shipyards want to succeed in this bet of light weight, but face the problem of price. Reducing weight often increases costs.
The Polish shipyard N'Fun Yachting, which is launching its first model today, has arrived at this weight estimate with a controlled infused sandwich construction, but also with a minimum of interior design.
More regatta than cruise
Thus the N'Fun 30 will be designed for regattas or day trips. Even if it is very well finished, no partition wall limits the layout. There is an open double berth in the front triangle and two berths along the square. Effective, but minimalist.
A boat à la carte
This yard has the capacity to fit out the boat at the customer's request. For sailing schools, for example, it can deliver a virtually bare boat at a call price of 41 000 €. But it will cost about 60 000 € for a boat ready to sail with sails and proper fittings.
If the sailboat has a lifting sabre keel to reduce the draught to 50 cm, one or two rudders can be installed, with a tiller or wheel.
Visible at the Nautic
Visitors to the Nautic de Paris 2018 will be able to discover the boat. It is distributed in France by Michel Orlinski and Fabien Tourreaux who are already distributing the Focus 750. A first copy is already sailing in Les Sables-d'Olonne for the pleasure of its owner.
