Fountaine Pajot enters the luxury market with the Power 67

Fountaine Pajot's Power 67

Fountaine Pajot expands its range of motor catamarans by launching a 64-foot (20 m) model, inspired by its sailing brother, the Alegria 67. With this large model, the French shipyard has surpassed the mark of motor catamarans of more than 60 pieds?! This model promises luxury and relaxation.

After the MY 37 (2015), the MY 44 (2016) and the MY 40 (2019), the rochelais shipyard Fountaine Pajot is tackling the segment of the very large motor catamaran with more than 60 pieds?! The Power 67 (but 64 feet long) is an engine version of the Alegria 67 and will be presented in Miami in 2020. With this new 20 m (19.69 m) model, Fountaine Pajot is investing in the luxury market and taking it to a new level. It will directly compete with the Seventy 8 by Lagoon . In this article, we will see how to roll up long ends. In this example the technique is described for a right-handed person.

If the feeling of luxury is already present in the MY40 and 44, the level should be even higher on this model. The construction site announces a more rounded and asymmetrical contemporary style. On the first computer-generated images, the exterior design is still evolving with no longer a single hull glazing, but two.

The emphasis has been placed on relaxation and reception with large living and comfort areas inside and outside. The 36 m2 cockpit opens completely onto the living room and has several sunbeds, a kitchen with plancha and a dining area.

The flybridge is impressive in size (32 m2) with two large sunbathing areas, a second helm station and a lounge area. The front axle, which can be accessed from the saloon via a door in the windscreen, can optionally be equipped with a jacuzzi. Finally, if the dimensions of the MY40's owner's cabin have already impressed us, the yard announces that this time they will be "incredible"

The shipyard offers several facilities to adapt to the different projects and desires of the owners, from the big cruise to the exit to the day, even if this program seems to us to be poorly adapted to the size of the boat.

The Power 67 saloon is available in two versions: lounge (without kitchen) or main deck (with kitchen). Open to the outside, it offers a 360° view of the sea. In the first version, there is a lounge area on the port side and a dining area on the starboard side.

Three versions of float fittings are also available: Maestro lounge, Maestro and 6 cabins, with 4 beds to 6 beds. In the owner's version, the Power 67 suite measures 22 m2 and offers a large dressing room, a sofa and private access to the cockpit. The Italian bathroom is equipped with a double basin.

As standard, the Power 67 will receive 2 Volvo 300 HP and as an option 2 x 435 HP. The worksite announces an autonomy of 1700 miles.
