6 outboards of 400 horses for the Tirranna de Cigarette Racing Team!

Cigarette Racing Team, renowned for its ultra-powerful 38- to 50-foot cars, is about to make a buzz at the Miami International Boat Show (February 14 to 18, 2019) with the Tirranna. On its transom, 6 outboards of 400 chevaux?! To be discovered in video, whose sharpness of the images could make us forget that it is in 3D.

While in the 1960s, Cigarette Racing Team was an offshore racing boat team, it has since evolved well. The company designs 38 to 50 foot racing boats that are among the most refined in the world. Tailor-made cars for yachtsmen looking for luxurious, fast and refined units. Every year, the American company collaborates with Mercedes AMG to produce racing animals inspired by racing cars.

But for its 50th anniversary, Cigarette Racing Team is about to make the buzz by presenting a star of a new generation. The Tirranna embodies "the very best in luxury and performance".

If for the moment the company doesn't want to communicate on its biggest model, reserving itself for the Miami Boat Show (February 14/18, 2019), it has released a magnificent 3D video. The images are so sharp and of such quality that you might even think that the boat is real.

And at first glance, he is attracted by the six 400 HP outboards hanging on the board arrière?! 2?400 chevaux? chevaux?! Just ça?! And in a provocative tone, the company answers those who ask for it "Why six?? Because there was no room for sept?!"

"This has been my most difficult project so far: the level of research, technology, performance and comfort that this boat will offer is unprecedented. To design the technical and architectural features, we met specifications that listed more than 250 points" explains superyacht designer Giorgio Cassetta to Superyacht Times.

While speed should be at the heart of the Tirranna's design, comfort is also very much in evidence with numerous sunbathing areas at the front, a very large, high-tech steering station and even a comfortable double cab with toilet.
