What will your donation be used for?
In general, to acquire hardware and software. But more specifically, for example, to buy waterproof medical bags that each SNSM boat is equipped with, and that contain an oxygen cylinder and basic medical equipment. Another example: for the rescuers themselves, new generation inflatable life jackets, visible day and night, which have an integrated recovery system, and a pocket to hold accessories..
Giving is simple and deductible
All you have to do is connect to the SNSM website and choose how your donation is to be allocated: to the SNSM as a whole, to a particular station, to a training and intervention centre or to a departmental branch. Your donation is tax deductible up to 66% of the amount of your donation, up to a maximum of 20% of your taxable income. So, if you give 90 euros, it only costs you 31 euros after tax deduction. Do you have a business? Here again, a tax deduction is possible depending on the partnership established with the SNSM! Of course, you can make a donation throughout the year, but the SNSM organizes a major collection campaign at the beginning of each summer. The 2019 one will take place from May 20 to June 29.

On June 28 and 29, the SNSM, to close its campaign, will organize the 3rd edition of its Mille SNSM Paddle Trophy. On Friday 28th, it will be in Paris, on the Seine, that you can try this paddleboard. Rendez-vous from 12pm on the quay of the Port des Saints Pères, in the SNSM village for rescue demonstrations, an introduction to first aid, marine knot workshops, an immersive experience in virtual reality... At 5pm, alongside the SNSM rescuers from their station, you will cover five kilometres on the river to the port of Javel Haut, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
