Evo T2, a chic and compact tender for superyacht

The Italian manufacturer Evo Yachts is launching a new range of elegant and sporty tenders, the first of which is the Evo T2.

Evo Yachts, known for its splendid telescopic open boats, has just launched its first tender. This project was initiated by the owner of a 46 m Sanlorenzo superyacht, who was looking for an annex. The latter entrusted the project to the Italian designer Valerio Rivellini - architect of the stars Evo Yachts - who then approached the Italian manufacturer for the production of the tender.

The Evo T2 is a 7 m long motor boat with an elegant and sporty design. Designed as a superyacht tender, it nevertheless presents itself as a perfect dayboat. This custom project has a high level of finish and equipment to suit the owner's desires. On board, the level of comfort and facilities are those of a day cruiser, so the T2 will be suitable for both crew transport and a day of coastal sailing.

While it was originally a "one off" project, the yard finally decided to develop a new range of tenders for superyacht. The T2 will therefore be produced in series, as the first model.

"When Valerio Rivellini presented us with the idea of a custom tender, we immediately accepted this new challenge, said the owners of the brand Evo Yachts, Alfredo and Rosario Mercuri. Before adding: "When we see the new Evo T2 on the water today, we think we didn't have much to do with it, but we are satisfied with this decision. We are confident that we will continue to produce this model, which opens up a new market segment and extends our range."

This model has sleek lines and a minimalist design, characteristic of the Evo Yachts style. The steering station is located forward in a separate cockpit, similar to a pilot cockpit. The steering console can be raised or lowered electrically to facilitate driving. This configuration is similar to that of the VQ16, by Vanquish Yacthts.

Thanks to this feature, the Evo T2 is only 1.45 m high when the console is lowered, making it easy to store in garages or on bathing beaches.

On board there are several batteries for starting and comfort on board, a dock charger, a 12-24 volt converter, a dock cable, a storage space with charging station for two Seabobs and an electric winch.

A towing ring allows you to practice water skiing and a hydraulic sea ladder, to enjoy the pleasures of swimming. On board, a large central bench can accommodate up to 8 people and is transformed into a sunbathing area by removing the backs. A table, a cockpit refrigerator and a bimini complete the equipment on board. On board, everything is controlled via the touch screen on the console or via a smartphone.

The Evo T2 receives a 300 HP inboard engine coupled with a water jet transmission, giving it a cruising speed of 28 knots and a maximum speed of 36 knots.
