Zeppelin is a French manufacturer specialising in customised semi-rigid vehicles. If the reputation of boats is well known in the professional world - SNSM, fire brigade, etc. - then it is essential to ensure that they are well known. - boaters do not necessarily have the reflex of choosing a Zeppelin for family use.
To open up to families, the manufacturer based in the Sarthe region is launching a limited series called Vitamin. Designed on the 20Vpro's hull, this 6.10 m long tire will be delivered turnkey and fully equipped for a family of 4 people. In partnership with Suzuki, the boat will be equipped with a 115 HP motor.
"We have chosen the heart of the range and proposed a boat for people who want to sail with their families. We focused on getting the best price on this type of 6.10 m boat. We have worked a lot on the equipment needed for a family boat of 4 people" explains François Penlae, site manager.
A top-of-the-range model, but accessible
This leisure model retains the brand's DNA of unsinkability, comfort at sea and very high quality equipment. On board, there will be a console and bolster, a rear bench seat, as well as an inflatable sunbathing area, which can also be used as a paddle for coastal rides. Finally, a removable table on a Blaza rail system is installed on the bolster
"Our experience with the hypalon has allowed us to develop a tailor-made and inflatable sunbathing space." explains the site manager.
In terms of equipment, here too, the manufacturer has thought of everything: bathing ladder on the transom, hand shower, trunks, Fusion hi-fi, storage space, portable VHF Navicom or GPS Garmin.
" We have put in some rather high-end equipment and are careful not to move down to the lower end of the range. We have applied our experience from the professional world to the yachting world" explains François Penlae. The 20Vpro offers a quality/price ratio that allows it to compete with the competition, thanks to a fixed layout.
"The boat is built with the same quality as the rest of the range, in our factory in Lude, in Sarthre," concludes François Penlae.
This model - limited to 15 units - will be offered with an orange upholstery, combined with Zeppelin grey floats and a white console. The Zeppelin Vitamine limited edition can be pre-ordered from July 2019 from the Zeppelin network and sold at the fully equipped price of 39?990 euros. The boat will be officially presented at the Grand Pavois show in La Rochelle next September.
