The Multihull Trophy will take place in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc from 23 to 25 August 2019. For its 2nd edition born in the 1980s it was relaunched in 2018 the expected Multi50 platform is very homogeneous and composed only of multihulls with hydrofoils.

5 Multi50s will be able to compete in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc this penultimate weekend in August. On day trips, the crews will race on small and large coastal courses for 3 days. This appointment is a must-have in the Multi50 class since it is exclusively dedicated to these boats.

A high-flying plateau

For this 2nd edition organised from 23 to 25 August 2019, the level of participants is raised with skippers who are used to the class. Exception to the rule, Sébastien Rogues (Primonial), a newcomer in the class.

We will therefore find Thibaut Vauchel-Camus (Solidaires en Peloton - ARSEP), vice-president of the Multi50 class, and one of the favourites with a very recent and now reliable boat. Lalou Roucayrol (Lalou Multi) has now rebuilt his damaged boat during the last Route du Rhum. Winner in Saint Quay in 2016 and 2nd in 2018, he aims for the top of the podium.

Gilles Lamiré (Groupe GCA - Mille et un sourires) can now count on a new boat to compete with the best. This year, he bought the former Multi50 from Erwan Le Roux (FenêtréA - Mix Buffet), a four-time winner in Saint-Quay.

This will be the second race of Sébastien Rogues - who bought the former Réauté Chocolat d'Armel Tripon, winner of the 2019 Route du Rhum - after the Rolex Fastnet and who has just entered the Multi50 class.

Finally, Thierry Bouchard has put his Ciela Village back in the water, but he will leave the helm of his green boat to Loïc Féquet, former Multi50 skipper.

"Everything the spirit of the Multi50 class is in Saint-Quay! Thierry Bouchard who launched his boat for the occasion and entrusted it to a former member of the classe?; Sébastien Rogues who chose to start his Multi50 adventure ici?; Lalou Roucayrol who rearmed his boat to be present in the bay of Saint-Brieuc?; and Gilles Lamiré who now has the means to appear well on built courses. It promises to be a great race, which will be very competitive" concludes Thibaut Vauchel-Camus.
