Che Belle Vita, a concept of luxury daysailer with self-supporting rigging

Che Bella Vita

The Beiderbeck design studio has just unveiled its new concept, the Che Bella Vita, a 19.40 m long daysailer that stands out for its unstayed rigging.

"Che Bella Vita" means "the good life" and it is on this basis that Bremen-based designer Beiderbeck designed this great and innovative daysailer. 65 feet long and 4.90 m wide, this luxury sailboat is distinguished by its unstayed rigging, which receives a single mainsail. A system that would allow you to be ready to sail in less than 3 minutes.

Che Bella Vita will be built within the Knierim shipyard in Kiel and marketed by Marinepool's wholesaler, Spirit of the Ocean. The program of this yacht at voile?? Carpe Diem, or enjoy your boat and have fun.

For the look, the studio was inspired by two small boats, the Finn and the Contender (Anglo-Saxon dinghy). A grey strip that circles the Che Bella Vita's hull serves as protection and makes the use of fenders obsolete.

The mainsail of 150 m2 is electrically furled. Moreover, sail adjustments are easily made with only four buttons: hoist, lower, adjust and turn/empty. The designer worked from the shapes designed by the Incidences sailmaker to create a self-supporting rig, which distributes the loads between the mast foot and the keel and thus eliminates bending forces on the hull.

This concept combined with its carbon construction makes the boat very light, Che Bella Vita weighs 15 tons and 40% of its weight is in the ballast. Its draught is 3 metres, not ideal for anchorages.

The huge flush bridge has been designed to offer a maximum of living space. Thus the navigation instruments are grouped in the centre of the boat. The double wheel steering has been replaced by an innovative steering system that can be moved from one side to the other. To facilitate manoeuvring, Che Bella Vita has a bow thruster at the front.

The planks open on each side to create 4 m long terraces on the water. A rear platform allows the same thing. Tables are installed on these balconies and combined with the many LEDs integrated into the platform, transform the boat into a real party room.

Under the bridge, there are several double cabins, a bathroom, a bathroom and a lounge/dining area where you can relax and dine, but also enjoy the bar.

With Che Bella Vita, the leader of Spirit of Ocean targets luxury hotels and other event companies to organize incredible events. The advertised rate is $2.6 million.
