A new model
Four years ago, the Axopar 37 was born, a dayboat with outboard motorization that later became a sports weekend and then a cabin cruiser. With more than 2000 boats sold thanks to its concept of offering a hull with several different deck plans, Axopar has quickly become one of the leaders in the sector.
But to maintain its status, the Finnish has developed a new generation of Axopar 37s, based on customer feedback for the past four years. These models, which will be unveiled in Düsseldorf in January 2020, provide even more comfort on board, functionality and ease of use. The idea is to move up the range, while maintaining the price-quality ratio dear to the yard.
An even better hull
Without changing either the length of the hull or the weight of the boat, the yard worked long and hard on the development of a new hull. While the Axopar 37's hull already had an excellent reputation, the manufacturer assures that the new generation will have a better passage at sea, will be more stable and safe while remaining sporty and responsive, offering more dynamic driving, more manoeuvrability and better performance. The Axopar 37 will receive 2x300 to 350 HP.
Maximize activities
Today, the new trend on the water is to maximize activities. Thus, customers want to be able to take on board their boat many sports equipment: fishing, water skiing, windsurfing, paddle, kayaking, snorkeling or scuba diving, hiking equipment or mountain biking.
To meet this demand, the manufacturer has integrated multiple storage compartments and a sunbathing area (with storage) on the Open and Sun-Top versions to store all this bulky equipment.
Three versions for three programs
The Axopar 37 will be available in 3 versions: S (dayboat), ST (weekend) or XC (cabin cruiser). On each model, we will find more or less the same deck layout with a cabin at the front, as well as many living spaces for lunch or relaxation.
What changes
Gullwing doors
Most of the forward cabins are nowadays often accessible from the inside. The manufacturer has therefore developed butterfly doors that will allow the space to be opened to the outside.
Better hydrodynamics
The driving experience will be improved and even smoother, more comfortable and flexible with optimised steering stability and better grip in corners.
The pilot at the heart of the boat
The layout will be practical and functional, including a raised floor for better forward visibility and the ability to drive standing up.
More comfort in the cab
The accommodation has been redesigned with an extended cabin and therefore more spacious and more accommodating.
Closed toilet with shower
Following customer demand, there is now an optional toilet compartment with shower for more privacy and a new level of comfort.
Multifunctional front axle arrangement
The front deck has been enlarged and now includes a friendly lounge area that transforms into a sunbathing area.
Better travel on board
The spaces are more versatile and the deck levels reduced to make it easier to move around the boat.
Driving a boat like a car (optional)
The idea is to offer the same easy experience as driving a car. In collaboration with partners, including Simrad, Axopar has developed new intuitive solutions through a system called "the Axopar bar": flat screen, entertainment solution/graphics plotter on a flat glass screen, interactive functions, Axopar Smart App application..
