A hollow braid for our moorings with Cousin's Black Pearl

For its mooring lines, Cousin-Trestec developed the Black Pearl from a hollow braid. Accastillage Diffusion proposes it in its 2019 catalogue.

A flexible mooring system

Why not use a hollow braid to make mooring lines? This is the product launched by the Cousin-Trestec rope factory with its Black Pearl model. This braiding method allows a high elongation under work load, thus offering a good damping. This makes the Black Pearl perfect for mooring lines or mooring lines. It is only available in black, the ideal colour to prevent the mooring lines from getting dirty.

Easy to splice

Black Pearl is a hollow 12 plait braided braid made of high tenacity polyester. This construction makes it possible to make spliced loops very easily, without any great seaming skills. With a hollow needle, it only takes a few minutes to make a beautiful loop adapted to your boat. The Black Pearl mooring line is available in 6 diameters (from 10 to 20 mm) for strengths ranging from 2,500 to 7,900 daN (breaking load).
