SR41, a new range of motor boats for Bavaria

Bavaria SR41

In January 2020, the German manufacturer will launch a new model of motor boat at the Boot Düsseldorf. The SR41, 13.29 m long, will be the first model.

Since its takeover by the investment fund CMP in autumn 2018, the German shipyard Bavaria has been very discreet. Back in France in September 2019, with two flooded sailboats at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the former German leader wanted to show France that he still had to be counted on.

If this return was rather discreet, Bavaria will launch two new models at the Boot Düsseldorf. A 13.29 m motor boat - the SR41 - and a 12.38 m sailboat, the smallest in the C range, the C42.

The SR41 is the first model in a new range, a cross between the Bavaria S - sports stars - and Bavaria R (motor boats) ranges. This cruise ship offers a large cockpit area with an extraordinary layout.

If the main deck is occupied by a saloon to port and a cockpit to starboard, it is on the stern that it is distinguished. The large sunbathing area - which overlooks the standard swimming platform - is transformed into a dining area facing the sea. By folding the backrest down, you can also have a second cockpit bench. From the first 3D images, we can guess a roof opening in the roof.

Access to the bow is via the gangways, which are accessed via steps. There is a large sunbathing area with a backrest for 3 people. The railing will allow safe movement on board.

Unlike the open boats on the market, the SR41 offers a real living space on the lower deck. In addition to the two beautiful double cabins with their own bathroom, there is also a U-shaped saloon to starboard with a galley opposite. A space that will allow you to eat your meals in case of bad weather.

The owner's cabin is located in the centre of the boat and the guest cabin is located forward. The brightness is ensured by the large hull glazing, which runs from the rear to the front. On the main deck, the pilot will enjoy a 360° view and a completely redesigned cockpit. The German manufacturer is not communicating any more about this arrangement at this time.

The SR41 will receive two 355 HP Mercruisers in the standard version and up to 2 380 HP D6-380s from Volvo.

The Bavaria SR41 is available in Softtop, Hardtop and Coupe versions and is available at 229?600 HT (bath platform and plotter included).
