While the first model of the Privilège 510 Signature is not yet in the water (launch planned for late 2019), a new version of this catamaran has just been announced. After the D-Light version which uses carbon to save 10% weight and offer more performance here is the Essential version which should see the selling price decrease.
Prvilège positions its catamarans in the luxury segment. With the rostrum between the 2 hulls at the front, a sign of the Privilege factory since the creation of the yard in 1985, which offers an incredible living space to accommodate the owner's cabin. These yachts are customizable as desired, always in the top of the range with luxurious options.
The Privilège 510 Essential will be manufactured with the same seriousness (vacuum sandwich shell with isophthalic resin, restructured partitions on the shell, tempered glass glazing, front and rear watertight compartments, etc.). But the Essential series will see its equipment "lightened" so that the invoice goes the same way.
As a result, the equipment and interior fittings have been simplified. In addition to the cost, it will also reduce maintenance by facilitating access. Thus "purified", these catamarans become more accessible. Even in this Essential version, they will remain very well equipped multihulls, favouring comfort over performance.
Note the new design of the deckhouse, which allows a kind of deck saloon to be installed on the deckhouse during anchoring. A removable stainless steel foot system is installed to provide a panoramic view to the crew during anchoring.
If the price has not yet been set for the 510 Essential, we can probably already expect around 1 million Euro excluding VAT without making any major mistakes.
