The Coaster 53, a semi-rigid designed for first-time buyers

Coaster 53

After a 10-year collaboration, the manufacturer of aluminium aluminium hull semi-rigid boats Highfield and the engine manufacturer Honda have joined forces to develop a new range of boats called H. Among these 6 models, the Coaster 53 has caught our attention with a particularly attractive ready-to-sail price.

Within the H range - developed by Honda and Highfield - the Coaster 53 has a slightly different positioning from the other 5 models. His vocation?? Allow first-time buyers to sail on an easy boat for less than 17?000 euros.

Thus, the manufacturer opted for a bare deck layout where a centre console with a large protective windscreen and seat in the front, a bolster and a triple seat in the rear are standard. As an option, a roll-bar and a bolster with backrest can be installed.

Unlike the other models in the H series, the Coaster 53 is not an optimization of an existing Highfield model. Indeed, the Ocean Master 540 (5.40 m) was in the catalogue but no 5.37 m model. The latter has the famous aluminium hull, which provides a very good passage at sea and real stability.

To reassure these newcomers to the semi-rigid world, Valmex PVC floats have an impressive volume and a high freeboard height. Handrails are present all around the boat to move safely. There are several storage lockers on board - under and in the boslter - and a large anchor locker on the front.

Still with an objective of accessibility and safety, the Coaster 53 receives a 50 HP Honda outboard engine. It will be possible to adapt an 80 HP engine to maximum power.

The Coaster 53 with PVC floats, 50 horsepower Honda engine and electric pack is sold at the price of 16?990 euros including VAT.
