An ergonomic interface
For the "old" TimeZero is the new name of the Maxsea navigation software. Having spent some time specialising in fishing, this French manufacturer (he is based in the Basque Country) has always worked on ergonomics, easy and natural access to the various functions. These habits come from the Macintosh (Apple) culture strongly rooted in this society and especially in its creator Brice Pryszo.
It is this man who developed a routing algorithm that is now used by all navigation software. With version V4.1, TimeZero goes back to its basics and puts the routing function back in the spotlight.
A routing for the cruise
With the coast avoidance function, routing control is optimal. This one has simple parameters that influence the route. He can be asked never to sail in more than 30 knots of wind, not to encounter more than 3 m of troughs, to arrive at the port during the day or even to put the engine on if the speed drops too low.
This routing is based on finer weather data now available with the high-resolution Arome and Arpège models (resolution up to 1 km). 3 wave models are also available.
A single environment on all media
All this data is stored in the cloud (remote computer servers). This is also where user data (points, routes, etc.) are stored. Thus a TimeZero user will be able to prepare his navigation at the office, modify it on his tablet, and load his points on his TZ-Touch on board. He will always find the same environment.
Since the introduction of the TimeZero display engine, this software has only grown. The new version, which is even more powerful and as easy to use as ever, should give new impetus to this irreplaceable software.
