Discovery / Lomac Granturismo 12.0, luxury semi-rigid and comfort at high speed

Lomac Granturismo 12.0

The new Lomac Granturismo 12.0 semi-rigid combines elegance and performance for family-friendly and comfortable sailing in complete safety.

One after the launch of its flagship model, the Granturismo 14.0, the Italian manufacturer Lomac unveiled the Granturismo 12.0 in 2019, an elegant semi-rigid 11.7 m long. With its huge sunbathing areas and luxurious furnishings, it is particularly suitable for a relaxation programme with friends or family. Speed fans will also benefit from the possibility of using a triple engine.

Access to the boat is via the beautiful swimming platform on which one can easily move from one side to the other. To avoid walking on the sunbathing cushion, as was the case on the Granturismo 14.0, the manufacturer added a removable central cushion to create a passage into the cockpit. Head restraints were integrated into the bathing platform, while on the larger model, the top of the backrest of the rear bench seat was used as a support.

If in the outboard version there is a huge hold on hydraulic cylinders under the cushions, the latter will accommodate the engines in the inboard version. Because Lomac offers several of these models - including the Adrelina range - in a dual propulsion system.

The rear saloon has an electric table. In the low position, it serves as a floor, in the intermediate position, it becomes a sunbathing element and in the high position serves as a dining table. The beautiful freeboard height makes you feel safe, even at high speeds. A bimini will protect the entire cockpit.

Opposite, the kitchen is hidden under the bolster and has a sink and refrigerator on the front. It is also possible to install a grill or cutting board, as on the model displayed in the Nautic show.

The cockpit is spacious with a large space for the installation of all the electronics. Two people can sit on the comfortable bolster with generous armrests and a handrail on the backrest. A very high windshield protects the pilot from the spray.

As an option, a new T-Top made of fibreglass and composite materials protects the steering station. Canvas inserts cover the roof openings for ventilation and sun protection. With this new configuration, the base of the T-Top is located just in front of the kitchen block in the middle, which may interfere with its use.

At the front, the Granturismo 12.0 offers a second sunbathing area - integral with the console seat - or shortens. Once the electric table is raised, a second dining area is also available. The movement to the bow is easily done via the wide gangways, and in safety with a nice float height and many handrails.

It is possible to spend one or more nights on board thanks to the bright double cabin equipped with a convertible U-shaped saloon and a bathroom.

Bathroom with chemical toilet and washbasin

For propulsion, the manufacturer recommends two 350 horsepower outboards, but the Granturismo can accommodate up to 3x300 HP. With 900 horsepower, the boat reaches a maximum speed of 58 knots and has the best performance at 26.8 knots (3 L per mile).

With this new model in the Granturismo range, Lomac confirms its know-how in the production of luxurious semi-rigid luxury products. We appreciate the quality of the hypalon floats, the finishes and equipment, but also the complete layout of the boat. The shipyard offers many options to enhance your boat and in particular a deck paint instead of gelcoat, like the model exhibited in Paris. An option charged at 32?000 euros, but when you don't like it, you don't count.

Price: 220?000 euros for the white gelcoat version

238?000 euros for the color gel-coat version.
