Special Edition / Olbia, the renovation expert

Based on the basin of Arcachon, Olbia proposes to restore all types of boats. Located on the banks of the river, this company offers all stages of renovation: painting, joinery, electricity, mechanics, etc

Olbia is a shipyard with 2 hats. The first is the construction of new boats: the New Worlds, strongal hulls with a panoramic deckhouse produced in series. The second skill is boat refit.

Even if the company's culture is more oriented towards sailboats, even long-distance cruisers, Olbia is capable of renovating all types of boats, both sailing and motor, whether they are made of metal (steel or aluminium) or composite.

The yard's capacity to accommodate boats during their renovation, either by staying on the outside midship deck if they do not need to be dismasted or in the shed for longer works, makes it a stronghold for this type of activity. Hakim Rahmoun, the conductor, considers himself a conductor, a masterpiece: " Our competence and experience is now recognized. I was even asked to help buy a sailboat with a grand voyage project in mind. I helped in the search for the second-hand sailboat which then came to our yard. I knew the overall budget for the project and that allowed us to stay within it ?.

To carry out the work, Hakim Rahmoun relies on in-house skills, but also on many local subcontractors: " When I accept work, I take responsibility for its proper execution. This is what the owners who call on us are looking for. They have security on the quality of the work and on the respect of the budgets. ?

? Our sailboats are sailing! We renovated an Allures 44 that crossed the Northwest Passage this summer. We have also completely rebuilt a Sainte Marthe 39 which has just completed its deckchair in Martinique. We also worked on a UFO 435 and many other models. "Capable of accommodating boats of all sizes, monohulls or catamarans, the Olbia shipyard works with a core market of between 12 and 14 metres.
