The family shipyard created in 1991 by Roberto Colzani wishes to develop a new range with more sporty and modern lines. For the design, the shipyard called on Federico Fiorentino, who favoured clean lines, with very thin floats at the front, as is the current trend.
At the bow, there is a very large sundeck topping a large storage locker, with space for the cockpit table. It can be installed either at the front or at the back. If the construction site has chosen quality with beautifully made materials, this is also reflected in the weight of the equipment. That way, there won't be too many of us to carry the table top.
The centre console has taut lines that add to the sporty look of the boat. The design of the pillarless windscreen has been worked with an original cut-out, but is still very protective. At the front is a chair with a headrest - a little less enveloping than on previous models. There is also access to a cabin equipped with an opening porthole with toilets. It was moreover a will of the shipyard to propose a boat equipped with a toilet, essential equipment for a comfortable day of cruising, hence the choice of a length of more than 8 m.
The cockpit is very wide to accommodate a wide range of electronic equipment and allows a pilot and co-pilot to be comfortably seated on the double seat with armrests. By raising the end of the seat, you can drive standing up. On the back of the cabinet, you can access the kitchen, hidden under the seats: gas stove, cutting board, sink, refrigerator... Enough to prepare meals with all the necessary equipment.
At the rear is the characteristic U-shaped saloon, BSC semi-rigid, under which many storage compartments are hidden. It is also possible to transform the dining area into an additional sunbathing area. Thanks to the polyester reinforcements that cover the 1800 Dtx hypalon floats, you feel well protected while sitting on the benches. Easy access on board is through a port cut-out in the backrest.
With the new BSC B-1 - which is aimed at an aesthete population - the Italian manufacturer has succeeded in its bet to launch a new range. We appreciate the quality of the equipment and the finishes, which nevertheless have a slight impact on the weight of the boat. Finally, the reduction of the floats at the bow, which bring modernity and comfort to the sporty look of the boat, makes the use of the bow sundeck while sailing impossible. We will use this area at anchor to rest and relax in the sun.
As far as performance is concerned, the shipyard is focusing on a high-performance hull that will ensure stability and great comfort when sailing. For the motorization, the BSC B-1 receives up to 2X300 HP - it will be possible on request to extend this power to 350 HP. The engines are framed by beautiful bathing platforms that allow for easy swimming.
