The famous European Powerboat of the Year award is given every year to the best powerboats launched in the past year. The winners - divided by category - are announced on the opening night of Boot Düsseldorf, in this case on 18 January 2020 for this year's Boot Düsseldorf.
In the category of trawlers - especially represented by the Dutch patrol boats - there are boats designed for travel. No need for speed, but comfort for life on board. The judges pay particular attention to the efficiency of the propulsion, but also to the safety measures provided by the construction sites.
Boarncruiser 1440 Elegance CS - 14.40 m
L' Elegance 1440 is one of the only boats under 15 m to have a central owner's cabin. Installed on the lower deck in the heart of the boat, it takes advantage of the maximum width of the hull. The owner thus benefits from the maximum possible space on board and therefore has a double bed, plenty of storage space, a lounge area on port and starboard, a very large bathroom with shower and two washbasins on port and a separate toilet on starboard. This space is completely separated from the rest of the boat for privacy.
The forward guest cabin also has a large double bed, a bathroom with private shower and plenty of storage space. The 3rd cabin can be used as a storage space, but has a single bed.
