Boot Düsseldorf 2020, prepare your visit to the unmissable boat show

The world's largest boat show will open its doors from Saturday 18 to Sunday 26 January 2020. Here is all the information you need to prepare for your visit.

Over the years, the Düsseldorf Boat Show has become the world's largest boat show. With more than 2,000 international exhibitors in 17 exhibition halls and 19 themes, the Boot is a must.

What to see at Boot Düsseldorf?

The south entrance is the gateway to the world of motorboats of all kinds: motorboats up to 10 m, superboats or superyachts. You will find the whole world of motorboating in 6 halls, from jet-skis to outboard motors, dinghies, RIBs, tenders and toys. In hall 3, beginners will be able to discover "Start Boating", a space dedicated to discovery and learning with experts who will give precious advice.

Discover the motorboats presented in a world premiere

Through the east entrance, you will access directly to the sailing world and its three halls. In this area you will discover the latest sailing boats (monohulls, multihulls, light sailing), but also information on financing, sails or training. In the heart of hall 15, discover the "Start Sailing" area reserved for beginners who will be able to glean precious advice. A large pool will allow young and old alike to learn to sail on small dinghies.

Discover the sailboats presented in world premiere

From the north entrance, go directly to the world of sliding installed in hall 8a. In this dedicated space, you will find the whole universe of water sports: surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, stand-up paddle and skimboarding.

If you can buy all your equipment, you can also take part in many activities thanks to the big pools and one of the biggest artificial waves, The Wave. The Beach World has become a must in the world of surfing, the proof is that you can attend real competitions and meet the stars of the discipline.

Hall : 8a

Through this entrance, you can also access the world of equipment and accessories . You will find sea clothes, motorists, various accessories, sailing instruments and many technical equipments, but also a space dedicated to refit.

Halls : 9 euros 10 - 11

From the northeast entrance, access the diving world which offers even more space than before with two dedicated halls. Try your hand at diving in a pool, attend lectures, meet with enthusiasts and find incredible destinations. But most of all, discover all the equipment you will need, from gear to camera or video.

Halls : 11 euros 12

Finally, both from the north-east and east entrances, you will access the world of water tourism, river travel or sea cruising. Book your next charter, your next cruise, find marinas to welcome you, a rental company to go on vacation, etc.

In this space, you can also find exhibitors from the world of fishing and canoeing and participate in the many activities: a canoe trip or a wild fishing party.

A facilitated visit

The year 2020 will see the opening of a new hall for Boot Düsseldorf, Hall 1 dedicated to motorboats. The organization has also planned some changes to facilitate the visit:

  • The entire motorboat world has been grouped together in halls 1 to 7 without interruption.
  • High-end tenders and chaseboats now have their own universe and are gathered in hall 5
  • Dedicated areas for beginners have been created in Halls 3 (Start Boating) and 15 (Start Sailing)
  • The space reserved for diving has been expanded, making it the largest diving show in the world.
  • The travel is now entirely grouped in the heart of halls 11 and 14 (diving trips, canoe trips, charters, houseaboat or vacations at sea.
  • Three halls are entirely dedicated to the world of sailing, from dinghies to 80-foot sailing boats.
