Test / Accommodation and life on board the Aventura 10 Power CS, 2 cockpits, a fly and 4 cabins

In less than 10 meters Aventura offers on the brochure features that we are used to see on 12 meter units. Before setting sail, let's see how the Tunisian shipyard manages to arrange the fittings.

A fully exploited nacelle

The length of just 10 m is more than compensated for by the increased width to 5.30 m and the freeboard is high enough to benefit from a gondola of sufficient volume to accommodate one or two cabins forward, the hulls being reserved for the access gangway and washrooms. The volume of the gondola also makes it possible to integrate a very deep cockpit bathtub at the bow, where there is a beautiful U-shaped bench seat around a shelf fixed to the anchor locker. The panoramic porthole, which serves as a backrest, brings a beautiful luminosity to the forward cabins. Inside, access to the bed in the forward cabins is equipped with a sliding panel to isolate them from the gangway. The head compartments at the bow of the hulls are spacious and very bright.

The aft cabins arranged in the hulls do not have island beds. However, they occupy the entire width of the hull and guarantee very good comfort. The large vertical and horizontal portholes also let in plenty of light.

A classic but efficient main deck

The saloon, separated from the aft cockpit on the same level by a sliding glass window, is divided into three parts. A beautiful dining room faces a well-equipped galley on either side of a central passageway leading to a wheelhouse and the companionway down into the hulls. In the three-cabin version, it is possible to equip this interior steering position with a simple engine control and autopilot, instead of a full console. And so to take advantage of this space for an extra fridge or dishwasher and more storage space. The materials are of good quality with woodwork covered with beautiful light oak Alpi veneers and a Corian worktop.

A very pleasant saloon cockpit

Since the Grande Motte 2019 saloon, a third option for the cockpit, called CS, in the form of a U-shaped bench seat and a table is available, bringing the size of the boat to just over 10 metres. This one seems to us by far the most accomplished and creates a comfortable place to take meals and can be used even while sailing. On our test model, there were simply missing storage compartments under the benches, an oversight that has already been rectified.

A complete flybridge

Access to the flybridge is from a stainless steel/teck ladder. Once at the top, nothing is missing. Full cockpit, sunbathing area and dinette allow for a long stay, especially as it can be equipped with an optional fridge and a bimini for those days when the sun is shining brightly.
