Aventura 37, a cruising catamaran to be discovered at the end of 2020

With this 37 footer, the range of Aventura catamarans will be complete. Always in progress, the shipyard announces an even more accomplished yacht, demonstrating a nice know-how. A model that could also please charter companies.

In the Aventura range, the STGI shipyard offered us the 34 and the 44 . But nothing in between. Planned to be presented at the multihull boat show at La Grande Motte in April 2020 (show cancelled following the health crisis), it is finally in the form of a press release that the shipyard unveils its new model: the Aventura 37 .

4 cabins for rent

Still designed by Samer Lasta, this catamaran takes up the design established with the 34 but with some modifications and refinements to the lines. Thus the deckhouse design seems even more angular.

With this size (37 feet or 10.90 m), the yard hopes to reach both owner clients and rental companies. Indeed, the architect succeeds in proposing a layout with 4 double cabins and 4 independent toilet compartments. A configuration that appeals to charter clients.

A very beautiful owner's hull

This catamaran is available in 3 versions. For the owners (3 cabins, 2 toilet compartments), the starboard hull is a real suite. The bed (accessible from both sides) is at the stern while the forward point is occupied by a bathroom (separate shower). Above all, there is a real closed dressing room in the centre of the hull.

When the hull is fitted out with 2 cabins, one can have a single toilet (then accessible by the gangway) or 2 independent toilets (accessible by each cabin). The first solution can be appreciated when you receive guests who can then access the toilet without passing through a cabin.

Stronger relaxation zones

As for the relaxation areas, the architect has provided a sunbathing area at the front of the deckhouse and a "Sun bed" accessible on the deckhouse. This is not a fly bridge accessible while sailing (the boom passes right over it), but a space that can be used at anchor.

If the saloon is organised like that of the 34 (U-shaped galley, saloon offset to port and chart table to starboard), an all-height refrigerator (260 litres) will be present when entering from port. In the cockpit, there is even a space for a plancha in the original layout.

A new ergonomic manoeuvring system

On the 44 it is difficult to access the manoeuvres (halyards, sheets...) when one person is at the helm. This ergonomic problem is solved with the 37. The helm station is a little further back, leaving traffic ahead. This means you can easily access the manoeuvring station (3 steps) from the cockpit without going through the gangway.

The yard has not yet announced the price of this new model, but it is likely to be aggressive like the rest of the range. The launch of this Aventura 37 is announced for the end of 2020.
