Versatile use
The Zodiac Medline 9 is the largest model ever built by the French manufacturer. This 8.90 m long semi-rigid was designed in collaboration with the DEMS design firm. The result is a boat that is both sturdy and comfortable, designed for an ultra versatile use: water sports, family or friends rides, lazing around or even speed thanks to two 350 HP outboard motors that give it a maximum speed of 55 n?uds?! The engine recommended by the shipyard is 2x250 HP, but the Medline 9 can also be fitted with a single 450 HP engine.
Two large transformable squares
The main feature of Medline 9 is the two large squares. The front one can accommodate up to 7 people around a table or turn into a beautiful bathing beach. Note the presence of backrests that improve both comfort while sailing and safety with an increased height.
The second U-shaped saloon is located at the stern and can also accommodate up to 7 people around the table. This means that 14 people can sit on board in the saloon, but a total of 20 people can be accommodated on the boat. The aft saloon also converts into a huge sunbathing area. To facilitate access to the aft platforms, the bench seat lifts up and the backrest swivels, so there is no need to step over the seats.
A console with cabin
The centre console houses a bed that makes it possible to sleep on board at night, but more importantly, it allows the children to sleep at nap time. There's also a toilet and plenty of room to store your belongings. Side portholes bring light inside, while a porthole under the console seat at the front will serve for ventilation.
A spacious cockpit and kitchen
The cockpit is spacious with a beautiful, well-protected dashboard. A double bench seat with armrests will welcome pilot or co-pilot - sitting or standing - for driving. Under the bolster, a kitchen equipped with a sink as standard allows you to take your meals on board by completing it with a board or a stove and a réfrigérateur?; all in option.
Many options
Although we have not yet been able to discover this model - which was due to be launched at the Salon Nautique de la Ciotat 2020, the first images suggest a future successful model. With the Medline 9, Zodiac offers the possibility of practicing multiple activities and responds to a wide range of sailing programs. This model is available in a wide range of colors (upholstery, floats and gelcoat) and with a variety of equipment (biminis, roll bar, ski mast, etc.).
