Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing, tough, tough seasickness!

In this episode of Nomad Citizen Sailing, Daniela, Marvin and Tara set sail for Brittany after their boat is refitted and their little girl's birthday. But this sailing doesn't really go as planned.

Before going back to sea, Daniela and Marvin take the opportunity to do the refit of their boat, but also insulation work in the forward cabin and a big cleaning inside the boat. Lodged in front of the port it is forbidden to stay on board their boat in Spain during the work they will finally be able to visit the town of El Puerto de Santa Maria and get busy with their little girl's birthday preparations. Yes, Tara is celebrating her two ans?!

Then comes the time to set sail again and finally leave the port. While in Spain navigation remains limited to 12 miles from home port, in France it is no longer restricted. So the couple decided to stick to their basic plan, which was to reach Brittany. But before that, they will have to make several stopovers.

The first will be Faro, Portugal - but at anchor the borders are still closed. This first navigation is particularly difficult for baby Tara. Marvin decides to install only the genoa, which gives the boat a speed of 7 knots with a 16-knot wind.

With gusts up to 25/30 knots, Tara suffers from a strong seasickness. Apparently, the weather is often stormy in the Gulf of Cadiz and the little girl spends her time vomiting. The swell is very short and the sailing is not very pleasant. After a short nap to get back on her feet, Tara's health does not improve and her parents decide to join Faro as soon as possible to anchor for the night.

Will they be able to take over navigation?? It's Baby Tara at décidera?!
