Neel 43, a "small" trimaran that has all the makings of a great trimaran

Neel trimarans presents the Neel 43, a 12.80m trimaran which takes up the assets which have made the success of its predecessors. In order to offer a "greener" boat, the yard has opted for recyclable and bio-sourced interior fittings materials.

A Lombard plan with the characteristics of its elders

With its 12.80 m length, the Neel 43 is designed for fast transoceanic rallies as well as for long distance trips and remains manoeuvrable with a reduced crew. Although it is the smallest of the range, this Lombard plan, like the Neel 47, offers a large interior volume and can accommodate 8 to 10 passengers. It also offers a load capacity of 3 tons.

Like the other models, the Neel 43 is built in a vacuum molded composite sandwich with carbon fiber reinforcements. For a "green" feel, the site opted for bio-sourced and recyclable materials for the interior fittings. Thus, the interior moulding will be entirely made with recyclable PET foams and bio-sourced flax fibres. Resins and gelcoats have also evolved in order to limit styrene emissions.

Fast speed and helm touch

Like the other models, it has a "rocked" central hull to facilitate tacking and harbour manoeuvres and floats with taut lines providing course stability and preventing pitching. The Neel 43 has a unique rudder blade for a better feel at the helm. The sail plan consists of a mainsail and a furling solent. The asymmetrical spinnaker will allow comfortable downwind sailing.

An accessible and fully equipped helm station

All manoeuvres are brought back to the helmsman who benefits from a 360° view from the ergonomic helm station with triple seating and a sun canopy fixed on stainless steel tube. Access is from the side steps in the cockpit or from the deck. The roof is accessible from a step on the side, so the mast, boom and sun deck are easily accessible. To move around safely, the cap is fitted with a handrail.

A large indoor and outdoor living space

Like the Neel yachts, we find the Cockloon® (interior/exterior living space) thanks to the wide opening between the cockpit and the saloon, but also the "Full Beam Cockpit®", an extra large cockpit with its numerous seating possibilities oriented differently to take full advantage of all the perspectives. An integrated plancha allows you to cook outside in all convivialité? and sécurité?.

The wide, protected stern skirts facilitate access to the sea and manoeuvring of the dinghy. Finally, the dinghy's lifting system is simple.

Inside, there is a panoramic view. There is the owner's cabin on the starboard side, a characteristic of the brand, and a double cabin forward. Finally, the modular saloon can accommodate a total of 10 people. The bathroom is also located on the same level and is equipped with a rinsing basin and a wardrobe.

The saloon with galley and chart table facing the sea is a decompartmentalized living space. The double berth on watch allows you to take part in the life on board without disturbing the rest of the crew. Finally, at the bow of the floats, accessible from the deck, two single bunks increase the sleeping capacity.
